The Bulgarian artist Borislav Vachev - was born on March 14-th, 1914 in the village of Stambolovo, Veliko Tarnovo in teaching family. Graduate School in Veliko Turnovo.
In 1945 was adopted at the Art Academy, majoring in painting course of the Professor Dechko Ouzounov. Graduate in 1950, then settled in the town of Rousse.
Began to teach painting to Children Institute for teachers in the town of Rousse. Under his leadership were educated hundreds of young teachers.Participated in group exhibitions of artists of Rousse, as well as many general art exhibitions. He has participated in the Balkan bienalies of artists in Bucharest.
Wrote many essays, stories and poems dedicated to rural life and nature, which have been published in periodicals of Russe.His Poems has issued with love lyric poetry.
He died in Rousse in the 197 4 years .
The exhibition in gallery-museum "Classica" is dedicated to the 95 th anniversary of the birth of the artist.
"Borislav Vacheva is one of the forgotten names in Bulgarian art. He surprised us with a thematic and genre diversity of his creativity, with its rich plastic language and poetic feeling. In his paintings you can feel the atmosphere of its time, they moved into a forgotten, nostalgic world - modest world of real values in life and art ... "
